(RAMSEY, NJ) Café Panache, a longtime staple of the State’s dining scene, was temporarily closed on January 6 after its beloved Chef and Owner Kevin Kohler died suddenly. The Kohler Family said they are thankful for the kind messages and heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts, that we announce the loss of our beloved father, Kevin Kohler. He passed away quietly this morning at the age of 63. Our dad touched the lives of so many with his charm, keen sense of humor and culinary prowess. He was a friend to everyone he met, and made a lasting impression on each of us, creating memories we will cherish always.”
Opened in 1985, Café Panache has been consistently lauded as one of the best restaurant’s in the Garden State. Following the footsteps of their hardworking father, the Kohler Family assured loyal customers that they will be back, and that they look forward to seeing diners again.
“We plan to reopen soon to continue Kevin’s legacy and lifelong passion,” they said.
